About Café-R Restaurant, Ruthin
‘CAFE R Restaurant’ is part of a family run business founded by siblings Alex, Rachel and Silas in 2004. We started out baking artisan breads at the family home, which we sold at farmers markets around North East Wales. In 2005 we opened Crown House, a Coffee Shop in Ruthin which is still going strong.
In 2008 we were lucky enough to win the franchise for the Cafe at the Ruthin Craft Centre. As part of this expansion our father, highly experienced in the catering industry, joined us as executive chef.
Our aim is to provide a high quality menu in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. We endeavour to source high quality ingredients, locally wherever possible. All our Coffees are fair trade as are some of our teas; we are committed to responsible sourcing of ingredients.
Whether it’s a drink, light snack or Sunday Lunch, call in to our licensed Cafe for excellent service and food of the highest quality.
